ASAM-UNHCR Joint Refugee Children Project called “Happy Corner” launched its activities as of January 26, 1999. With this project, more  than 1000 children were assisted with constant supply of food and beverages that have been handed by more than 30 ASAM volunteers.
ASAM has been leading a second-hand clothing campaign with constant support from different institutions and individuals. In addition to that, so far more than 950 asylum seekers and refugees were given social and legal counseling while they are waiting for their status determination by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
